Our high school youth will travel to the Appalachian region of North America!  Step out of your regular world into an experience that will challenge them to apply what they have learned in church, youth, and discipleship training.  The local organization our team will work with is SWAP - Sharing With Appalachian People.  Part of the Mennonite Central Committee, “SWAP addresses sub-standard housing in eastern Kentucky and West Virginia. As a participant you will work with and for local homeowners "In the name of Christ", sharing the message of God's love and building relationships that serve to enrich all involved” (from the www.mcc.org/swap).  While there, we will be “helping more families to live in safe, warm, and dry homes”.
