Welcome to our website. St. Croix Vineyard is a church located in St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
SCV is actually more like a community than a traditional church. It is a friendly, informal, non-judgmental and safe place to grow spiritually. We teach traditional Christian values in a non-traditional way.

Peter Fitch explains the background for Psalms 42 and 43 in order to demonstrate that some forms of worship can hold us back from a real encounter with God. You can listen to the talk here.

After a small rant about the ineffectiveness of PowerPoint (he calls it WeakPoint . . .), Jeremy Barham gives a stimulating talk about the importance of breaking free from fear in relation to finances. Speaking of underlying motivations, he unmasks the poverty behind hoarding, on the one hand, and Christian 'magic' thinking on the other. And he manages to do all of this while maintaining a focus on the power of God to provide in miraculous ways. You can listen to the talk here.

Walter Thiessen shares some thoughts on how we can get free from this attitude that keeps people stuck. You can listen to the talk here and read Walter's notes here.

Peter Fitch recaps some of last week's teaching on cleansing the soul. Then he begins to speak about another foundational desire at SCV--getting to know God in deeper and deeper ways. He uses a book by Janet Hagberg and Robert Guelich called The Critical Journey: Stages in the Life of Faith to illustrate what spiritual formation is like for many people. Sermon notes are here and you can listen to the audio talk here.
